I disagree. Rice looked
angry. She went through Clarke like a hot knife through warm butter.
She's seen this before, and she doesn't like it. And I agree with her. It's assclown stuff. Trust me on this: she isn't shaken; she's angry. On ABC's GMA, she had to sit there and listen to Clarke give his spiel for almost ten minutes. When Gibson turned to her it was like watching a thoroughbred bolt out of the gate. She lit into Clarke, then into his arguments. She's angry, and Bush and Rove said, "Do your worst, Condi!" VERY nice to see how quickly the WH is at shooting this down.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Chris is correct! Rice was livid. All of you "doomsayers" just sit back and watch the dims implode over this issue. It may be the weekend (or next week) before we see the results, but this is going to be bad for klintoon and the dims!

(We point out Kerry's record and the facts, and they just THINK it's attack politics.)

She wanted to point out that Clark supported the war in Iraq, but he hauled her up by saying he never had.
I was left wondering if he had.

Agree. Condi was pissed for good reason. Clarke is trying to politicize this thing through lies and he will face extreme scrutiny. He is a fraud and will have to answer to his lies. If Al Qaeda was so important for the Klintonites, then why was it relegated to slide #14 of a 33 slide presentation given on 5 Jan 04? This apparently was the only mention of Al Qaeda/OBL during the transition. For John F'n Kerry and his minions to say that the Bush Administration is not doing enough in the war on terror is like Ted Kennedy calling the Pope an alcoholic...
