You are right. He is trying to make this thread about himself. He is the self-proclaimed "Irish Mick" who doesn't "care a fig about Israel."
In no way do I mean this as a condemnation of anyone else of Irish extraction. I am simply quoting an earlier posting by Burkeman 1 condemning Israel.
I have fallen into his trap, but will do so no more.
