you said "If more had voted for tom, and we would have SB60!"

With all due respect.. for a 'talk show host', you are extremely uninformed.

The referendum on sb60 had enough signatures. the ONLY reason it didnt have to go on the ballot is because schwarzenegger and cedillo saw that it had enough sigs, and therefore the democrats repealed the very legislation they had just passed,;

if the referendum had gone on the ballot, that would have been a clear proof of how the populace feels. and would have been harder to pass 'licenses for illegals' again. so regardless of who won the governors' race,. sb60 was dead.

also, in the new sb1160, in case you didnt know.. it will be immune from any referendum, since it will have an emergency clause. Arnold and cedillo have already both publicly agreed to this 'emergency clause' aspect of the pending bill. so it is not 'speculation' on my part. it is fact.

so as you stated in your post, "We can just have another referendum". wrong again.

Also, I suggest you read up on arnold and the stances he takes on issues. Read his past statements. I don't know if you claim to be 'conservative', but to try to compare arnold and mcclintock as if they are similar choices, is very innaccurate.

if you don't mind unlimited abortion, stem cell research, cloning, homosexual marriage, gun control, and open borders and rewarding illegal behavior; (all the things your hero embraces) why the heck are you even a republican?

For that matter, any supposed 'Christian' who supports a candidate who takes such stances, needs either find another church, a different pastor/teacher, and needs to throw out everything they "think" the know about Christianity and start over from scratch.

Since this argument is so OLD...here we go again!

It was impossible for Tom to win - he could NOT WIN! He gained nearly 15% of the vote if I remember. If there was no Arnold, then Bustamante or Davis would be governor today. The only reason that Tom played so well during the campaign was due to the favoritism he enjoyed by the liberal media of this state. So, to put this to a close - Tom is a great man, but he didn't win the state controllers seat and he didn't (couldn't) win the recall race - the nearly $1 million dollars of Indian Tribe money - that's gambling money - helped his case as well, the anti-Arnold candidate.

Considering, Arnold has NOT been motivated by the CCPOA nor the Indian Tribes becasue he has not been supported by the Tribe money, something that Tom would not be able to say today if he were governor. (On the CCPOA, Tom is as pure as any politician in the state!)

On SB60, it would have been repealed by the initiative, right. But Arnold repealed it when he took over as governor - he did so BECAUSE of his BIG victory and initiative power - once again, Tom could not win, so he didn't have the power to force this through the legislature.

Now we have SB1160...Ron Prince and the Prop 187 people just FAILED to get enough signatures to pass 187 and an anti-SB1160 onto the ballot for this November...people were not motivated to sing the petition. The passion is not there, because there is NO SB1160 to consider!

Do you think Arnold is going to pass a piece of law that he just repealed in October? Do you think he is going to pass a law that will face an initiative in the future, to be repealed? Consider what you are saying...he is not stupid.

Yes, there are conversations, but there is no deal!!!! I'm telling you there is no deal!!! Arnold has set the bar too high for Cedillo and Nunez to support SB1160, too high for the Dems liking.

Stop reciting the mantra of the left and Gil Cedillo - if we have any chance in this state, we conservatives, we must understand about to be pragmatic toward the center to finally arrive at conservative/moral issues. You cannot change this liberal, immoral state by voting in one person! It takes a trend and a path, not a political Messiah!

Look - right now Arnold is killing the Democrats. He is revealing how liberal they are, so liberal that they do not represent the party itself! Give him some support and stop the single issue rants, especially when there is no issue to rant about!

Now, congrats to Tom - he is a great politcian for his district, but he has not and cannot win a statewide election...the state is not ready for him...yet...hang on, his best chance might be his next statewide run, we'll see.

Consider the abortion issue over the past 10-15 years, look how the populous has changed. Thsi country is more pro-life than it was just 10 years ago, because of pragmatic leadership with (first) Gingrich and now Bush. We must have control to handle the controversial issue of morality - control means WINS, a majority of WINS so we have the numbers to vote past the liberals tactics and control.

Thanks for the dialogue and have a good day and...stop attacking my walk with the Lord, who are you to be spiritual judge and jury over my relationship with Jesus...I forgive you!
