That was one of the most disgusting interviews I have EVER seen.

And the irony is, if Clarke is so sensitive about alleged Bush complacency or incompetence, how'd he EVER make it through the ineptness of 8 years of Clinton's impotence in the hunt for Bin Laden? He wouldn't have. This is blatantly politically motivated.
If you guys have not read "Losing Bin Laden," you must. It exposes Clinton's ineptness and Clarke's dogged attempts to catch Bin Laden in the second admin. Like I said, Clarke's "sensitivity" to ineptness never showed itself during the most inept admin with foreign policy since Carter.
This is political. Or this guy is just plain nuts.

Obviously Clarke is not man enough to shoulder some blame.

I agree. Unfortunately, we are going to be hearing Clarke's name a lot in the coming days. Fortunately, for our side the man just oozes venom and bitterness.
I get the feeling on some level he feels partly responsible for 911 and now he is doing everything he can to cover his @$$.

Glad I missed it. I don't suppose anyone asked him why Clinton missed at least three chances to get Osama? I thought not.
