"The question for colleges is to decide whether this issue is going to be talked about when the next school year rolls around."

Of course it is. How can you continue to fan the flames of victimhood unless the barely-existent-anymore, non-issue of racism (it'a like so '60s) is "talked about" ad nauseum. Naturally, a good hoax now and then helps the cause.

Thanks to all who have replied to this thread so far. I wasn't sure if there was any interest left because this has gotten a lot of play on FR lately.

We all know that the real core issue here is the apparent attempt by a liberal prof to manufacture a hate crime against herself that would end up being self-aggrandizing. Giving herself undeserved, innocent victim status while elevating the cause she herself specializes in, thereby giving her status amongst her peers.

This should be treated as fraud perpetrated against the colleges AND the student body, not to mention the city of Claremont and its citizens itself. Saddly, the DA isn't really sure weather they will even charge her with making a false police report.

The real funny part is the whole colleges cumbaya victimfest that makes them all look like bedwetters.

The real joke is on them. ;^)
