Lampooning Kerry is proving far too easy. In a single week, Bush-Cheney turned him into French toast. Stick a fork in him, Kerry is done. And there are some interesting scandals brewing on the back burners. The only question now is who the 'Rats will choose to nominate at their convention--'twon't be Kerry!
hillary to the rescue....
This is perfect for her, because she couldn't stand a long campaign with all of her baggage and nasty temper.
She's also the only Dem left with enough name recognition to win in a short campaign.
I have noticed over the past several months that there are a number of posters who believe that there will be a deus ex machina that will wrest the nomination away from Kerry and give it to someone else. This is nonsense. Kerry will be the nominee because he has the delegates needed to win it. The Dems won't change the primary rules. The only caveat, and it is a remote one, is for Kerry to withdraw. That just won't happen.
