A lot on the news about the up comming 9/11 commission
and the Clinton folks on board this week especially
that Richard Clarke who will be on 60 Mins.
How they told the Bush adm. about al Qaeda.
Let me see if I understand this -- Clinton does nothing
for 8 years while they are bombing the crap out of us.
Then as they are leaving tell Bush, look out for these folks. Then the networks try to play gotcha.
8 years is a long time to do nothing.

You nailed it. That is exactly what Clinton and his cronies are trying to do.

I wonder if 60 Minutes and/or the 9/11 Commission will address the fact that the Bush Transition team had to set up an office in Virginia, because Clinton would not authorize a hand over of keys/budget to Bush and Cheney until after the Supreme Court had spoken.
I find their contention that they "tried" to inform the new administration of their concerns about alQueda very hard to accept.
Why didn't THEY go AFTER him? Any day after the Cole bombing!

This is so typical of them. Do nothing, but then blame the next person for their failure

Hi SoCal
Your point is well taken .. they were discussing it on Fox, and Bill Gertz agreed that if the dems open that pandora's box, it will come back to bite them .. just as you said .. what were they doing the whole 8 years while we were being bombed .. and then Gertz started naming off all the bombings and the number of Americans killed. Bill said he felt the democrats would only injure themselves by trying to pass this off on Bush. I sure hope he's right!
