I LOVE the contrasting pictures side by side, timpad!

Thanks for posting that!

YIKES!

Day - Night
Black - White
Good - Bad
Joy - Pain

WHAT a contrast in those two couples!

I just said "boo" to you.

I'm crabby and in a bad mood and already said too much around here at home so trying to keep my mouth shut.

But "boo" to you! :-)

...Bush at a campaign rally attended by over 000 peoplehe Orange County Convention Center in Orlando...

You know, here is the real missing piece: 13,000 people at a rally.

Are you serial?!

Look folks, this is an amazing turn out. I don't see how the response the media gives to the President is so ho-hum about how the American people feel for him.

Look, they don't agree with him politically. Fine. They will continue to lie about his accomplishments, his record, etc. Fine. We all expect that. BUT...

How can they not cover that the President had 13,000 people at a campaign event in Florida, the state where he won the election of 2000? I mean, come on!

I guaran-F'n-tee John F'n Kerry has even seen a crowd that big anywhere near his rallies.

I just find that to be an interesting nugget of detail.

Hi Mystery!

Brandon let you off Gramma duty for a few minutes to check in, huh? How's Mike today? How about Jake?

I missed taping this morning--dang!

I Freeped you yesterday--just wondered if you saw it. No need to reply--I know you're busy! :-)

As for their being a choice . . . had to have a discussion with my MIL about the "hate ads" the President has made. I gave her this challengs; "Tell me one single thing he's said in those ads that isn't true, and tell me one factual thing Kerry has said in his ads." We then changed the subject.

Could be a loonnnngggg pull till Nov. 2. My MIL's sister and her husb are coming next week, and they positively HATE the President. Why? His smirk. Yes, they base their hate on that.

***Oh my goodness, what was said that brought that on. He looks so totally happy.***

Probably either "I love you" or "I'm so proud of you" or, cause he's just so special,---both!

WHAT a contrast in those two couples!

The thing that really shines through there is that two of these people are genuine, decent, "ordinary" people whom you would feel perfectly comfortable inviting over to a fried chicken dinner...and the other two are just condiments. Something that's just on the table, but that you can do without.

Like maybe, oh I don't know, ketchup?

Hi SoCal

Your point is well taken .. they were discussing it on Fox, and Bill Gertz agreed that if the dems open that pandora's box, it will come back to bite them .. just as you said .. what were they doing the whole 8 years while we were being bombed .. and then Gertz started naming off all the bombings and the number of Americans killed. Bill said he felt the democrats would only injure themselves by trying to pass this off on Bush. I sure hope he's right!

Yes, Brandon is in bed...son and d-i-l just left...and there is quiet!!!

I talked to Mike today, he was in a better mood...he went to the PX and got himself some civlian clothes and Brandon a bunch of presents...a leather bomber jacket with patches?....hmmmm!...that kid is spoiled rotten as it is...what 2yo wears a bomber jacket...LOL

Mike hopes to get on the manifest Mon for the Tues or Wed flight out or he'll have to wait for Friday's......He is concerned about the upcoming surgery and how much tissue will have to be removed and how plastic surgery works...I tried to reassure him that......if they offer him a return to Iraq, he's taking it!....grrrrr......I just don't see how it would work timeline wise.

Other than that, he's good and can't wait to get out of Germany and back to the US.
