Saw you guys walking around...great work.

I saw my favorite sign, "War never solved anything Except for communism, facism etc" walking right through the middle of the crowd in front of the podium. I saw other freeper related signs but you guys moved to a line infront of the federal building then disappeared. I arrived at like...2pm. Heard Jessie Jackson and Danny Davis speak. Then left when speakers started talking about slavery and the indians.

Wait...before leaving I hung with the commies in the back. Banging their drums, wearing Palestinian garb, with red worker party signs. That was fun.

Oh, I also saw "If ANSWER had it's way there'd be no free speech". Also one beautiful young lady standing near the podium with a LARGE "I support Bush and our troops" sign.

WGN and some radio station walked by my section was getting interviews. Well, I'll look for you and the group on the news.

There was NO protest in DC, they cancelled it. The back up to send buses to Fayetteville was a failure too!

The point I'm trying to make is that at our Rally for America, for example, which was a year ago tomorrow, there would have been no need for any police at all if the lefties didn't join us. I don't think there would be much chance of Rally for America attendees running out into traffic, breaking windows, harrassing on-lookers, etc. if left to our own devices. But the peaceniks appear to have quite an inherent destructive instinct. It's like they can't get that famous brief film footage of the Russian Revolution out of their heads.

Yesterday I attended the Cook County GOP Unity seminar, an all-day event way out in the NW burbs. The crowd included a large conservative presence including members of FTN, ICRC, and at least one other FReeper (two if you take schizophrenia into account).

I was invited to attend the closed presentation made to GOP Committeemen by conservative John Cox ('02 GOP senate primary candidate). He discussed his plans for implementing "Cook County Recall" -- a grass roots effort to eliminate corruption and revitalize the Republican party in Cook County, with special emphasis on the City of Chicago. John set very specific goals for the Committeemen, and I suspect he will be quite firm (as only Cox can be) with those who fail to meet them.

Maureen Murphy, Cook County GOP Chairman, echoed John's comments to the general session and also stressed the need to overcome voter fraud. We will need to recruit 15,000 volunteers in Cook County between now and Labor Day to serve as precinct workers, election judges, and poll watchers. Activism opportunities abound! We need to root out 'RAT corruption!!

Peter Fitzgerald was honored at the lunch session and gave a rousing endorsement to our U.S. Senate Candidate Jack! Ryan. Ryan gave a short speech and pledged to run an aggressive campaign against the Obama.

The afternnon seesion was a little bit dry and made me almost wish I'd joined y'all to FReep. But all in all, I think I derived good benefit from attending and will soon be launching an effort to recruit as many FReepers as possible to get involved in anti-corruption efforts for the fall election cycle. In the meantime, my hat's off to the Chicagoland FReepers who did a great job yesterday!

Yes, it was an entertaining afternoon. Too bad the anarchists destroyed two of our signs who were held, oddly enough, by two of our weakests (physically speaking) member. It is amazing how those Anarchist thugs ganged up on a petite lady. Really disgusting! A couple of other incidents happened... I was personally confronted by a guy with piercings and a tattooed neck, a handicapped lady, a crazy bastard who accused me of being a "nazi" and "eurofascist" and several people who told me that I do not have a right to protest. Yeah, that's the Left's vision of Freedom of Speech. Overall, an interesting experience. We had definitely the biggest and most professional signs. (Check out Protestwarrior.com)
Of course there were several peaceniks that tried to romance me into their views, which I respectully rejected. There was even a peace-protester that was offended by the main message of the ANSWER protest: She wasn't expecting so much hate-speech from the Left....

Two signs? I only heard about one. Interestingly, when we were behind the police line on Adams, a lot of the marchers were threatening us, accusing us of hiding behind the police (or Mutant Ninja Turtles, as one of the smarter peaceniks called them.) But when we got back to Fed Plaza and openly mixed with these clowns one-on-one, the threats pretty much dissipated. I hope you caught the bozos who attacked you on video.

I got into some discussions with many of them and they tried to use the existence of the police force as proof that John Ashcroft was watching them. I quickly pointed out that there is a history that forces 'The Man' to be ever so vigilant. Not once did I get a reply after I pointed it out.
