I think that when people do this in their own back yards, we have a better chance of getting media coverage. If people go to DC and stage a protest, the media is so used to it, it really is meaningless. Someone is always protesting something in DC.

But......it is newsworthy when people show up in Anytown USA to get out their message and counter (a much smaller group) of leftists. Especially when the media is so brainwashed into seeing the protestors in big cities like LA, DC, NYC, it really comes as a surprise when people don't sit down and take it at home.

Great work you guys!

You know me I'm always ready. I was only going to hang around for an hour or so but once I got started it was almost four before I left. I was very encouraged to see there was almost nothing new in the deluded bunch which appeared. Same ole washed out commies, some curious, some luke-warm against the war, mainly the same rabid Bush-hating zealots who appear at the Rallies of the Perpetually P.Oed. They were very diverse in their ravings indicating that there is no growing movement just an attempt to form alliances among the America haters. Numbers were about the same as the earlier rallies maybe 1200 at the peak. Not very impressive considering the beautiful day and the proximity of thousands of clueless college kids.

It was a blast when the bikers came by and blasted the raving lunatic speaking from the stage. That started the break up of the rally as the following speakers became even less focused and returned to whatever pet peeve they came with. Injun radicals, Jew-haters and terrorist supporters ended the day.
