The High Representative of the European Union for the Foreign policy and Seguridad Comu'n (PESC), Javier Solana, noticed of the inconvenience of an out of proportion reaction the terrorist threat and affirmed that Europe is not "in war" against the terrorism after the attacks of Madrid.
After the attacks, in which 202 people died, "Europe is not in war", emphasized Solana in an interview granted to the newspaper German ' Bild a.m. Sonntag'. "We must energetically oppose the terrorism to us, but we do not have to change our form of life. We are democrats who love their freedom. If we changed our form to think, we will contribute to the victory of the terrorists ", emphasized.
Between the instruments that the UE requires to face the terrorist threat, "we have necessity of one better cooperation between the police, justice and intelligence services. We must bring up to date the financing sources of the international terrorism and to increase the security of our means of transport ", emphasized Solana.
"In this sense, a terrorist coordinator of the UE could give to important services, since the cooperation and the interchange of information are average the most effective one in this fight ", along with the introduction of" mechanisms of solidarity "between the countries members, continued. "it is not necessary to lose of Vista the roots of badly: the unstable States, the scorn of the Human rights, the impoverishment of the population ", indicated. Only one "oriented policy of development" can "increase the prosperity and the security in the world" and "to break the vicious circle of conflicts, insecurity, criminality and poverty", added.

GOOD!! Then when something happens we won't have to help your sorry asses. This man is either in denial or he is in cohoots with the terrorists and made a deal with them. I heard on the news a few minutes ago that a spanish newspaper has reported that: A SPANISH MAN SOLD THE BOMB MATERIAL TO THE TERRORISTS AND SAID HE HAD NO IDEA THEY WERE EXTREMISTS. It was on MSNBC but of course it is not on their website. I am searching for it on my translated Spanish Newspapers.

The Spanish idiota speaks badly for the Spaniard, and presumes to speak for all of Europe.
The sooner we see the behind of this one, the better. I think he is a disgrace, certainly not worthy of his boss, Juan Carlos.

I can't imagine being a citizen of a country which is bombed for a political agenda, killing 200 and over 1400 casualties. And the freakin government says we are not at war with the people who did the bombing.
All I can say is I guess the Spanish have gotten what they asked for. Embrace murdering islamists and pushing away their true friends the USA, it is really very sad....

The Spanish are colossally stupid. Maybe they can buy their way out of the crocodile's jaws but we Americans know better.

Whatever happened to Chamberlain? Did he eventually repent of his appeasement ways? Did he exclaim "Never Again"?

Well, with their new Chief of Terrorism office, they can call endless meetings, have endless discussions, drone on endlessly about the "root causes" and pontificate on about how superior they are to the "cowboy" Americans.

(Spain's) Solana assures that Europe "is not in war" against the terrorism And when the sandmaggots take over again, through armed invasion, immigration invasion or terrorism, I hope that Solana will accept that even delusions have consequences, and good luck to them.

Solana has been anti War on Terror for years now.
He's not representative of the Spanish Government, he is an EU official.

The short answer, NO.
He might have, had he lived more than a few months after he was forced out of office for as Kerry would put it, *bleeping* up.... big time.

I feel bad for those who were killed and injured but the voters of Spain are going to get what they asked for in their election. La Republica Islamica de Espana.

They believe they will live a life of danger and romance, like a war correspondent, and never be considered a partisan when attacked, and are willing to take the chance they themselves will never be a "collateral damage" innocent victim when the next attack occurs during their daily lives filled with freedom of the Socialist persuasion. Solana is right, he as an elite in his political hierarchy will be safe from the terrorists, because he is willing to sacrifice the lives of those who will be the "collateral damage" innocent bystanders , those he ill represents, if he "represents" their interests at all itself is questionable, considering he siphons their tax monies to support the terrorist organizations, and refuses the populace the natural right to defend themselves with arms against attacks.
The tragic flaws in his logic, and of his cohort, will slowly sap the Europeans of the potential to respond to further, more wrathful provocations, as today they under fund their ability to respond to these opening attacks. Terrorism in Europe is not new, terrorism supported by 10% of 1.2 billion hostile Muslims worldwide is. The current cohort of European leaders test the very concept of full participation democracy, it may fail upon it's own internal inconsistencies, again, in Europe, again.
If, in a hundred years, there are historians still writing freely, and the EU bureaucracy doesn't burn their records as they retreat under the social chaos, like fleeing Nazis crossing back over the Rhein, this European bureacracy will be recorded as the final treachery of the European bloodlined elite over Europeans, before another section of Europe is overtaken(retaken) by Islamists of one form or another.
Or so says some guy on the 'net...
