"The only thing that can stop John Kerry from winning the Democratic nomination now is an endorsement from Al Gore."

"In addition, Gore has already endorsed Kerry. The Gore-ons just haven't gotten that message, yet."

My comment was made facetiously. I guess I should have made that clearer.

the executives could care less. Does anyone really think Carly Fiorina gives a damn about something like this while flying to lunch on one of the HP Gulfstreams?

they will be long gone with boatloads of money when problems like this hit the fan.

I see you are new here. I suspect you are young. Let me give you a tip about FR. Rank liberal trolls are kicked off immediately, but free-"traitor" type LIBertarians who have no sense of history, nationalism nor patriotism are allowed to stay, and can take control of an economics discussion. My advice is: think patriotism, nationalism and national security. Especially national security is MORE IMPORTANT than stuffing the pockets of some of the LIBertarian / globalist $hitheads hanging around here masquerading as conservatives. Don't waste your time debating with them because they are small-minded idiots who either are or foolishly identify with globalist corporate managements.

Actually, yes I am. My reading of the regulation is that the Business Associate must comply with the regulation..

Your missing a rather large chunk of the problem: under HIPAA there are no enforcement provisions against the BA, and if you dig into this issue a bit more you'll also find there are few actual penalities that would in practice be levied against the CE for BA violations.

If you do some research, you'll find that this is exactly the interpretation of HIPAA consultancies and attorneys.

Just remember all this outsourcing was started by your Governmnet for less Government. They outsourced Government jobs to private industry, Yea! You say; I say nay. It fueles companioes that get the contract for one year, then go belly up and the next entity (same principals) take over and the With held taxes, including Social Security go down the tube.

Then the Gov't wanted to ioutsource the programming of IRS computersa - the bidder - the PENTAGON! Adios privacy, but that was stopped.

So now we gp offshore where there is no privacy, no financial protection, no taxes to the US, no Social Security and NO AMERICAN jobs....of course you can compete with the Illegals and be hired by a Corp. that pays substandard wages and disappears along with the illegals when "ICE" shows up.

Yes we need MORE REPUBLICANS and DEMOCRATS - NOT! Time to keep turning over the politicians getting rid of all incubants as frequently as possible. It will disrupt their Un American activities and they want to steal from us - so they will straighten out if we keep em churned.

Unfortunately for none. Neither foreign or domestic. I did not pay attention when they told me "go for the government job, young man". :(

Security over private information?

I am sure these honest governments, companies and individuals will be most trustworthy with such critical information.
