This is perfect. Kerry has missed almost all senate votes this year. A great ad would point out that since he started campaigning, Kerry has been so busy that he has missed all votes, but decided that raising taxes was a priority and flew into DC to vote for tax increases.

To be fair, he did show up on Super Tuesday to vote against guns...

Even better - new strategy. Run the same ad I was talking about. He will complain that Bush is misleading America again, because he did vote on something else. This creates controversy and brings more focus to the ad. Then, publish apology statements; something to the effect of - in our last ad, we claimed that the only time Kerry came to vote in the past year was to vote on tax increases. We made a mistake and would like to apologize. He did come to vote one other time for further gun control. We had overlooked this, because Kerry continues to claim that he recognizes the right to bear arms. Again, we are sorry - Kerry has attended two votes out of xx. Although he claims he wants to cut taxes for the middle class, he flew to DC to vote for tax increases and although he claims to favor the right to bear arms, he flew to DC to vote for gun control.
