So, we pay the interest with more paper.
What good that would be? We'll have worthless paper and no production ability, they'll have a working economy built by us. From their viewpoint it's one heck of a deal. They'll keep buying our papers until we keep expatriating our economy - providing the missing market details in the process. Once their business and distribution infrastructure is developed enough their (our?) production facilities will fit right in. You need to connect the dots here. There is much more to it than paper. I think this is what is called economic warfare.

The weird thing about your argument is that America has factories. America has farms. America has everything that Americans need in order to survive.
I live in Virginia. I don't really care whether the goods I buy are produced in China, Mexico, or South Carolina. Why should I?
If the goods are better made offshore, good for me. If the goods are of acceptable quality and cheaper made offshore, good for me.
Why one earth would I want to pay more for goods which are not any better, and maybe inferior?
Why should I subsidize inefficient manufacturers? They aren't lining up to give me any handouts. Why should I give them a handout?
What's in it for me?

What good that would be? We'll have worthless paper and no production ability No, they'll have worthless paper.
If they suddenly decide to stop selling goods to us for our worthless paper, then I guess we'll have to produce our goods here.
Isn't that what you want?
As far as economic warfare, what can they do to us? Raise the price of the goods they sell us? Print more green paper!! Don't sell to us at all? There is global overproduction. Lot's of willing sellers, no inflation, remember?

Once their business and distribution infrastructure is developed enough their (our?) production facilities will fit right in. Production facilities are only useful with markets to sell your goods to. Like ours.
In their warfare are they going to all this trouble to build their productive capacity so they can turn around and not sell to us?
Doesn't make a lot of sense.
