I don't think there's a FReeper-specific cookbook, I asked because so many great recipes are shared while waiting for breaking news...I thought perhaps someone was compiling the recipes?
but Carlo3b has at least one cookbook available.
I'm on his ping list but I wasn't aware that he had published a cookbook.
I have two cookbooks in print and another one that will be out in June.
Please give me the titles and I will try to find them.
I didn't mean to take anything away from the great work you and Carlos have done. I just wanted to see if anyone was preserving the great recipes that FReepers share during the 'wait and see' period.
I meant no harm to anyone.

I read somewhere he didn't go to the funerals because the security required would have disrupted the family. I also read he writes a personal letter to the family of every person killed. . . .

I have been upset all day...he wanted so much to return and bring his troops home...and to return like this, oh well....it can't be helped...he was there a year, he's done his fair share...it was only a matter of several more weeks.
I will not go to WR...he has no idea how long he'll be there....Jonathan and I will probably drive to Campbell and see him when he gets there.

I meant no harm to anyone.
Meant to also ask: How did you think simply asking would cause harm? (This isn't a "don't ask, don't tell" zone. LOL)

I have a nice laptop he can borrow while he is at Walter Reed and I have a cell phone he can use as well. Don't worry mystery-ak, Mike will be in good hands while at Walter Reed if I have anything to say about it :-)

I won't go to WR...he could be there as little as a couple of days to a week or two.....I'll meet up with him at Campbell....Mike said his biggest mistake was asking the flight surgeon *what the he$$ is this thing on my face?.....LOL....he's worried he's gonna look like Michael Jackson before the Army docs are through with him...LOL

think he made the right decision, to call each family, visit Walter Reed and visit privately with families when he goes to bases, rather than spot select funerals.
However, I do wish that he or someone in the Administration would comment on his not attending the funerals (to shut the liberals up). All they need to say is that some people keep complaining that he hasn't attended any funerals and ask them just which soldiers they would select. Talk about hard or hurt feelings--explain to all the families how one should be selected over another.
This shows and proved that the president has respect for the troops and loves them and vica verse
