In Matthew 17, do Elijah and Moses not appear to Jesus, Peter, James, and John?

In fact they do appear - in a vision, not bodily. Matthew 17:9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

So you believe they were sinning against Deuteronomy 18:10–11? No, Deuteronomy 18:10–11 is against necromancy. Jesus was not practicing necromancy, and neither are we if we ask saints to pray to God for us. How do you explain Revelation 5:8?
