Just a quibble. Would you please edit the title:

KERRY USED AN EXPLETIVE TO DESCRIBE SECRET SERVICE AGENT WHO KNOCKED ME HIM OVER

It's more accurate and less confusing...

Kerry jumping out of the ring when he gets hit reminds me of Jimmy Young when he fought Muhammad Ali in the 70's.

This by itself ensures that they can't switch candidates later.

Eh? There's always Hillary!™

Where the hell are the pictures of Kerry down on his butt??? Remember how the partisan, liberal media plastered Bob Dole all over their papers during the 1996 elections when the the stage broke, and he fell. Back then the narrative was that Clinton should win because Dole was on old man. The fall, though it wasn't Dole's fault, was used by the mainstream media because it fit their partisan Democratic narrative. Kerry's fall does not fit their partisan Democratic narrative of Kerry, the intellectual man's man.

No, there are certain time constraints in a modern campaign that have virtually eliminated here. You simply can't build a national organization (which is more than just the Dem Party) in a couple of months.

More important, the Dems are using up their money now, on Kerry. Even with some of the big spenders in the Dem party, they can only back one candidate. Unless I saw Kerry's funding evaporate in the next two weeks, it's a done deal.

He's looking pretty volatile and thin-skinned.

Indeed he is. And all it does is encourage his opponents to get under that thin skin. It's an open invitation, in fact.

It's pretty obvious by now that Kerry can't take the heat, so it's imperative that we turn up the fire on the guy.

uphill skier yields. I wonder if rather than the SS moving over and hitting him, if Kerry just plowed down expecting people to get out of his way and crashed into the SS agent.

"You know, when I read these articles about the Kerry's I think, "How can these people look themselves int he mirror each day??" From her remark about doing it "prettily" it's clear neither of them are looking in the mirror."

It's easy when one looks in the miror and sees no reflected image. He does look like a vampire, now that I think of it.....

I wonder why Kerry needs Secret Service protection at all.

A Republican wouldn't attack him, because they know that Kerry makes Bush's reelection a forgone conclusion.

Kerry wouldn't be a victim of Arkancide because his loss is exactly what Hillary wants for her 2008 run.

Bush-haters are too delusional to think that Kerry can lose.

Who would want to attack Kerry?

"...actually a dot of deep Democratic blue on the political map."

OK. I've seen numerous references to the blue/red zones on the map in several threads lately and not one question has come up... Specifically, prior to the last election, there was some discussion regarding the red/blue coloring. It was as though, suddenly, the Democrats, in their quest to distance themselves from their communist leanings, had somehow convinced the media to change their color on the map to blue when in years past it was the Republicans who were blue. Someone here on FreeRepublic said that the incumbent gets the blue color. If that is indeed the case, are not the Republicans entitled to that blue this time around???

"Still, Mr. Kerry could not entirely escape the hazards of the arena he had left behind. He had just sat down for a bite to eat on the crowded patio near the lift line when a waiting skier, John Norris, shouted: "Hey, John! What foreign leaders talked to you?"

It just occurred to me what this campaign needs. Do you remember the clown dressed as a cigarette following Bob Dole? We need Freepers dressed as foreign leaders following John Kerry around. Who's got a Fidel Castro costume?

They were also compelled, however, to reject an endorsement from one foreign leader: Mahathir Mohamad, former Malaysian prime minister

What's needed right now is an endorsement from Al Gore. .....It works every time.
