Missed that. Could you tell from the tenor whether it was good news or bad?

Well, I think I need more caffeine, lol.....I think when he said "breaking news out of London" he was probably referring to Mansoor Ijaz's "news" and I just realized that he's in London.......

Looks like he was right, yesterday. He and all of the other talking heads on television seems to be saying the same thing on all the networks.

ironic how these terror masterminds have no difficulty in sending others to their deaths along with thousands of innocent people but when its THEIR neck against the wall life sure is precious! Hypocritical cowardly scumbags.

Bush is up in 30 I say the news, if large, will be released 15 minutes before.

Like you, I would like to believe Ijaz, but his batting average is pretty poor.

I have suspicions that Monsoor is a double agent.

The media enablers can try to minimize this all they want. They know it's huge. Will be interesting to see how they handle it. Dems are already weepy-eyed.

Alive or dead, it makes no difference to us other than intelligence gathering. Either way we are gonna take the bi-ach out!

Just 5 days ago, Mansoor was on FoxNews ridiculing the US Military/US press for believing that anyone would be in this region of Pakistan. "They are in IRAN!"

If that is true, then they must know the identity of the person.

I am always skeptical of anything Mansoor says. We'll see if he's finally right this time.

"even if we get Bin Laden himself, it won't be worth anything because his successors have already been groomed."

I'm sure there plenty of people just a smart and just as evil as OBL, but these guys are claiming to derive their power from Allah. If they are taken down, particularly if they are taken alive, what does that mean?

I thought it was the info from those phone calls that Saddam made to his wife, that lead to his capture?

I suppose that's possible, but it seems doubtful that, if it had been a crucial piece if information that made the whole capture operation possible, it would have been let out in advance of the capture.

My personal theory is that the release of that information was part of some sort of mind game that we were playing, perhaps with Saddam, or perhaps (more likely) with people who were supplying him or protecting him. Or it might have been part of some even more obscure agenda. I just remember at the time thinking, "hmmm... why in the world would they make intelligence of that nature public." I wish I could remember the source of that information; was it Reuters, or Debka, or some main-stream media outlet?
