I voted for Pat in 2000.  I dont' regret it a bit.  He had been trying to get people to address the issue of border control,  immagation as a whole and particularly illegal immigration for over a decade.  As of September 11, 2001, Pat's prediction came true and not a one of our leaders has had the courage to admit it to this day.  We didn't have to experience 09/11 to figure out that it was stupid to allow hostile middle-easterners to flout our laws.

Now, I have been criticizing Bush for not taking out Arafat as part of our war on terrorism.  Terrorists network together.  They share funding.  Yasser Arafat has access to hundreds of millons of dollars.  Still we allow this parasite to live on doing his evil deeds.

BTW, I don't hate Catholics. As a matter of fact I urged calm during the problems with priests and pedofilia over the last year.  I think those priests should be taken to task, but the rank and file Catholics feel the same way.

Does anyone here listen to Michael Savage? What is his take on this issue? I think Savage believes that it is an interminable problem unless it comes down to complete war, Jews against the middle east Islamists. The idea here is that someone must win or there will be no end. Do we want to be involved? Or, should we be involved just to keep the lid on for generation after generation, treasure after treasure, blown up people after blown up people, for as long as it takes? I say Pat makes good points as I can't answer all the questions from my vantage point. The Brits couldn't keep their empire together because of problems beyond their control unless great force was used. Is this like that?
