I strongly support the work Scott Swett is doing with www.wintersoldier.com to archive research on John Kerry and the VVAW. Making this site a strong repository of original materials will make reference in the debate much more available to a wide audience. I also applaud the work Tom Lipscomb and the NY Sun are doing on the story. Today's editorial in the NY Sun utilizes the public record stories I uncovered.
The Sun writes today: "And if the discussion of the assassination plot was so troubling that it was worth resigning as a leader of the group, why did you continue to represent the group in public at events like a speech at Dartmouth College on January 11, 1972, where an account in the New York Times described you as a "spokesman for the Vietnam Veterans Against the War?" Or at a Washington protest meeting on January 26, 1972, coverage of which in the Times also described Mr. Kerry as "a leader of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War"?

Both efforts utilized research I uncovered and supplied. Having the research utilized both in the news media and on the Internet will make even more compelling the demand that Kerry answer the substantive points as now documented.

Is there some reason why this information wasn't posted at Free Republic?
And while you are patting yourself on the back, know that I uncovered the plot to begin with more than a month ago, gave the story to Lipscomb, gave him the contact info for many of the witnessses, told him about Kerry's denials in last week's press conference (which I did a thread on), told him about how Kerry had continued to represent himself as a VVAW long after that--based on photos and other material I have seen (such as the photo of him watching Nixon on TV, I posted here and elsewhere), and suggested that he look into finding out material where he was represented as still being with the media. And that's just this story.
I also post my research material here on Free Republic where it can be viewed by all. Looking at your past posts, I don't see a whole lot of information being posted by you at FR:
