Like father, like son. Both of them hated America.

I am sick to death of liberals and Europeans criticizing "black and white" views. I'm sorry, but terrorism and Saddam Hussein are evil, and anyone who is too "nuanced" to admit those moral truths is morally blind.

What is it with these cretens, if they don't like it get the hell out....go back to Czech. where they would not only not be listened to, but probably buried in a shallow grave, along with the rest of their Jewish relatives!

Good point. One of my best friends when I was in college was the child of Russians who had fled the Soviet Union.
And yet he was an ultra lefty and his parents were hardcore Communists. (And they were all Jews.) It never made any sense to me.
But it does seem to be a pattern.

Gee, the Europeons sure didn't mind "American Interventionism" during WW1 and WW2 as well as the Cold War.

Like father, like son. True class is hard to come by.

Kerry is sophisticated.
He understands that Saddam, while potentially evil, has excellent taste in his collection of jockstraps.

John Kerry was raised as a European by his father.

Sounds like Mr. Potter in "It's A Wonderful Life": a bitter, frustrated old man.

I've looked up John Heinz - Kerry's wife's first - and can't get a picture of what he was like. As a republican I see him the direct opposite of Kerry. Yet, Theresa married John Kerry. You know it was not for money, you know it was not for looks, you know it was not for personality. So what was it about his character that attracted her to him.
I feel people like Kerry hate America and what it stands for. Unlike Clinton, but not unlike Hillary, who just wanted the money, power, playthings, and would follow orders, Kerry will do deeper harm to this country than he already has. By that I mean Kerry's lies of the Vietnam War
I think of the Heinz boys, and believing their father stood for good, how can they watch and be a part of what is happening.
But then I may be wrong Theresa and her boys may be carrying on with the Heinz tradition!

"Third world Marxist movements were autonomous national movements" The guy was/is an idiot. There's a ton of evidence that the Soviets were bankrolling Marxist movements in all countries, including the US.

And all this time I thought the man has no core beliefs. If this article can be believed. The Kerrys have fallen for that intellectual trap I call irrational idealism. They rebell against western democracies' faults by embracing every lunatic who manages to hide his warts through total control of the press. Let's face it. Who has better press, Kim Jung-Il or Bush? Castro or Blair? It helps that most so called journalists are graduates of leftist schools and promoted along their career paths in accordance with their politics rather than their literary or investigative skills.

This explains a lot. It is very common for children of foreign service employees to develop an anti-American attitude.
They only visit America for a couple months every two years. Many of their friends are foreign nationals who dislike/jealous/hate/despise America. Peer pressure over 18 years has an impact.

The Kerry/Clinton similarities continue. Both had cold, isolated, unloving childhoods.
John Kerry's childhood was the same as Clinton's, except Kerry had shoes.
To: Unam Sanctam
That's the problem. People like him (rats and other socialists) think its a good thing to never have clear moral convictions. Good and evil is laughed at and people who believe it are thaught of as stupid or patrinized because they need God or religion. Lord help me, but I really can't stand those idiots.

Thanks. Whatever disagreements people may have or may have had with the policies of either President Bush, both men are undeniably class acts. A far cry from the Clintons and Kerrys of the worlds - cheaters and opportunists all.
