There's No Business Like UN Business! (Oil For Food Scandal)

The Associated Press is reporting this morning: "GAO says Saddam's regime illicitly earned $10.1 billion from oil program":

Congressional investigators said Thursday that Saddam Hussein's government reaped $10.1 billion in illegal revenues related to the United Nations' oil-for-food program -- much more than previous estimates.

10.1 billion--not a bad hunk of change--even dwarfs the grosses for Finding Nemo! Anyone who blames this country for not "cooperating" with the United Nations had better address what now appears to be a world record for corruption. I would like to see Senator Kerry comment on this. Who will be the first reporter to ask him how he responds to these figures and what they mean? Will there be one who actually does? I rather think not because it gives total lie to the whole multi-lateralist mythos. Shame.

But, but, but what about Haliburton?
