'Stay in town and complete the work of the people'

Gov. Mark R. Warner is calling the bitterly deadlocked General Assembly into a special session today to enact a new state budget, but the anti-tax House of Delegates is threatening to walk out and return home for perhaps a week or more.

These legislators need to hurry up and pass the Warner/Chichester tax increase.

How do the nasty GOP House Rep.s expect for the Commonwealth to finance the necessities like big Ford Expeditions for Lotto Officials to get back and forth to work in? Everyon knows you can't sell scratch off tickets unless you get a free SUV to commute in.

The difference needs to be made up for whats deducted from the Lotto money thats supposed to be used for the schools.

This poor official might have to commute in a sedan or something more economical without a tax increase, or even worse, pay his own way to work.

Quit acting like a jerk and work with the House of Delegates. They are the ONLY body that is acting on the will of the people.

Worried about Wall street?????

You better worry about the voters of VA who reject your lack of leadership and will remember this when you run for the Senate!

Let the people decide, Governor. If you cannot accept the House budget, then support a referendum and trust the people to decide.
