I keep thinking one of the most effective Republican voting ads will not be a classic "proBush" ad, but one instead disguised as a full page "quiz" people can take. I think this would be especially effective in black communities, that are a voting block for Demos, but when you quiz them on issues, usually are much more conservative than they realize.

Then at the bottom it would inform you which party is most likely to support your principles.

So many people who are dyed in wool "Democrats" are amazed to find out they really are republicans. I remember a post from a black person on this forum who said he was told by CSPAN he kept calling in on the liberal line, and he obviously wasn't a liberal. And that is how he found out he was a republican.

Yes a political quiz would be great, but those are party building efforts that should be done prior to a contentious race. The public certainly isn't going to be educated as to the true ideologies of either party by the media or our public institutions.
