Just to reiterate what appears on that thread: Schwarzenegger himself hasn't made a statement on whether he's working with Cedillo. However, it doesn't hurt to give Arnold a call. Nothing anyone says will dissuade Gil Cedillo from his quest, so Arnold's probably the person you should contact.

I heard on John & Ken today that if this bill passes and Arnold signs it, it's considered an "emergency measure" that goes into effect immediately (due to "dangerous roads") and it will be referendum-proof for TWO YEARS.
Must not happen!!! I hope Arnold realizes that if he signs it many of the Republicans who decided to give him a chance won't be voting for him again...
