It would be a waste of time to contact Cedillo. He's the author of the AB60/SB60's every year for the last few years. He wants identical licenses/ID's for illegal aliens, and he has no plans to change his mind.

If you read the transcript, he's aware that 70% of Californians don't want it, yet he is pushing for it anyway, this time perhaps with an urgency clause. (SB1160)

Nothing you or I say would have any effect on Cedillo. Arnold is hopefully different.

If anything close to this ever comes out of Arnie, I certainly hope he will not find support here, but I have my doubts. I am sure someone will spin it that it is good to give illegals licenses, because a Republican is doing it.
