So be warned: If I see you quoting Scripture, or coming off like a sanctimonious jerk with an inside track to Heaven, but you are just plain MEAN on-line, I'm likely to get in your face about it. Just because I'm not a Christian now doesn't mean I haven't studied it. I can sling Bible verses with the best and I can't stand hypocrites, bullies or bigots. So there.
Since your study of Christianity did not result in your acceptance of the Bible as true, continuing the search for truth will be fruitless. I know this because the world offers no equivalent to the assurance I have in knowing Christ personally. All other "ways" are nothing but endless endeavors with the same disappointing conclusion.
Your comments suggest a smorgasbord approach to determining truth, and that has always been popular. Those who espouse this approach do so with more than a slight air of superiority, and that sense of pride is what hinders them from objectively studying the Bible.
Call me a bully and a bigot if you must, but I will still implore you to earnestly search for truth in the One who alone has claimed to be "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" - Jesus Christ. Don't trust anyone else's word. Just trust His Word - the Bible.
