Four years ago the Dems tried to say that Bush/Cheney was backwards, and Bush didn't measure up to Cheney. They won't try that this time, after 911, Afghanistan and Iraq. But if Kerry nominates a (present or former) governor to be his VP, Cheney will have fun throwing that line right back at the Kerry campaign--Kerry's executive credentials are all wrapped up in the command of a whole motorboat in Vietnam! And if Kerry doesn't nominate an experienced executive for VP, Cheney's credentials alone will overmatch the gravitas of the whole Democratic ticket!
