I was in yer area almost all of the day (at MCV) getting prodded, poked, and examined. But most of the time just waiting around.

So, I am way behind on the news. Missed the tax showdown, missed the 9/11 hearings, missed Rush.

I feel ignorant. Kinda like the sheeple I spend much of the day with in the waiting rooms. But they were "blissfully" ignorant. I, however, will catch up with FR.

Most of the Dr.'s offices I've been to lately have CNN on the boob-tube nonstop. For some reason, the place I take my car for service has soaps on all the time.

My son was in Portsmouth Naval Hospital for three weeks with nothing but a deck of cards and a TV for entertainment. When he left, he said he had a much clearer understanding of the news bias his Dad and I have been complaining about. He said everything was either Kerry, Kerry, Kerry or how horribly things were going in Iraq and that was more painful to endure than his ailment.

Anyway, I hope all went well for you today and you'll be kickin' up your heels soon. We're arranging a welcoming committee for Inspector Gadget aka Hans Blix next week at VCU, by the way.
