I know, I was disheartened to see so many errors in I sent off an email to the editor of "The Link" in the hope that they will better proofread their articles.

I just received this reply :

I apologize for the errors. I am the Master Proofer and usually I scour every article with a fine-tooth comb, as I am a stickler for the shoddy nonsense I see passing for English these days. That article just slipped by me. I am sorry. I agree with you that grammatical accuracy is of vital importance, especially in a homeschooling newspaper.
