Home schooling is in essence PRIVATE schooling. In my experience, most private schoolers I've met tend to be deeply politically active.

Good to hear but my experiences at the local level have not been as gratifying.

I just feel that these folks fear scrutiny and feel like jumping into the political process jeopardizes that.
