Whenever I go somewhere and overhear people in line at the bank, at lunch, at the gym, etc, they are always saying "I saw on the Today show" or "I saw on CNN." It's never "I saw on Foxnews" or "I read on freerepublic.com." And what comes after that usually sounds like DNC talking points. I think the ratings bear this out. What do CNNABCNBCCBS get, compared to Fox?

I live in a township where Bush got 64% of the vote, where our Republican Congressman got over 70% of the vote, where every township official, state official, and federal official is a Republican, and 8 out of 10 county officials are Republican.

So I either have this uncanny knack of running into all the Democrats whereever I go, or we're getting our asses kicked.

I think you have an uncanny knack...
I rarely talk politics or religion in public.I was taught it was rude to do so, overtly.
I always vote.Every election.Every time.
How many of the line talkers do you see at the polls?
If you are up to it, or in the mood for shocked expressions, a single one liner of factual information tends to make the loudly ignorant avoid using public que lines to expose themselves as what they are.Loud and Ignorant.
Try it!
It works.

That's my very same experience everywhere I've been. Perky Katie and CNN still have far too much influence on America, unfortunately. And so many women I've known or overheard are actually convinced that Hillary "has done so much for children"!

I'm actually baffled when I hear about Fox News' #1 cable ratings. Other than myself and several thousand FReepers, who is watching FNC?
