France and China conduct exercises to intimidate Taiwan poll

Well, it appears that France has continued its policy of opposing everything the US supports. This time they are joining forces with China to have joint naval exercies on the eve of elections in Taiwan.
China regularly engaes in military execrises or tests when Taiwan has elections. Most notable of them being the 1996 missles tests that forced Clinton to send warships into the region. China has made no secret of the fact that these types of tests are intended to intimidate Taiwan.

Good thing is that it is the French. Its better to have no extra ships than French ships.

Since Saddam was removed, there's been a vacancy in the Axis of Evil. Why not add France?

If Taiwan attacks the french, they just might conquer them in 2-3 shots.

Despite loving peace, I've yet hoped we might eventually T-up on that stinky French carrier, DeGaulle.

Al Qaeda terrorizes Spain to alter the election results of an American ally. France is works with an anti-American totalitarian country to intimidate and terrorize a American ally. Makes sense.
