Just ONE time, JUST ONE TIME, How about all the nit pickers and naysayers keep their opinions to themselves? Frankly I think the vast bulk of Freepers are sick and tired of "OH the Democrats are going to do this....." in response to EVERY positive post. Just this ONE time can the Doom and GLoom crowd just shut up and admit this is a fabulous ad????????

That would make for a pretty dull forum, wouldn't it?

Fact is, a campaign ad must be careful about every message it sends. The music is great. The name of the song is problematic. If an ad like this went national, the dem response is obvious. If you don't think that sort of thing matters, maybe you haven't watched a presidential debate in the last 25 years. It is the "zingers" that people notice and remember, not the policy discussion. Fair or not, like it or not, it matters, and it makes the campaign look bad for not noticing it.

By the way, do you remember how Al Gore was belittled for using "You ain't seen nothing yet," also by BTO, in his campaign? The song, if you recall, was about catching a sexually transmitted disease.
