The sentence about needing a strong defense to keep America in existence tells the whole story. I think many Kerry supporters simply do NOT think that there is such a level of threat, and reflexively look for what America did wrong when we are attacked. Very upsetting!

I have been working in a factory environment for the past fourteen months and it is terrifying to realize that everyone I deal with at work is allowed to vote. Some of them actually think but probably at least half only register emotion and imagine that they think. When you hear someone say that they think Kerry will stand up for the little man and you ask them what they know about him they can't tell you one thing. When you mention his record as a gigolo they register a blank stare. I wouldn't be quite so worried if they actually could give me a reason why they think Kerry would be better than Bush but they cannot.

Have you considered the possibility that America's demise is precisely what they want?
