The FR Canteen is Free Republics longest running daily thread specifically designed
to provide entertainment and morale support for the military.
The doors have been open since Oct 7 2001,
the day of the start of the war in Afghanistan.
We are indebted to you for your sacrifices for our Freedom.

GOOD MORNING TROOPS!

Well, we are bracing for a snowstorm here in good old Maine..and the snow was almost gone, too!
A good day to fire up my old fashioned Kitchen wood cookstove, and set a pot of stew to simmering...

My buddy Jake (Great Dane/Boxer cross) snapped the chain on his dog run, and came to the front door dragging it behind him..so he has his head under my arm as I post this morning
(woof!)
Mr.B will have to fix that dog run when he gets home!
