What makes us sick is the fact that the media pounds in "the loss of one of our most important allies in the war against terror." Please, 1200 service men? Socialism is just a guise for communism. Been there, saw that. Don't forget that they refused to release terrorists to Guantanamo. And on the news tonight, just seeing all of the ragheads and the burka covered women(?) in the foreground made me understand how they are now indeed the New France. They will be hollerin' for us to intervene soon.

This drum-beat has hit an air-pocket though (at least for the alert news-consumer).

Only with the recent meeting of Dubya with the Prime Minister of The
Netherlands did I know that there are as many Dutch soldiers in Iraq
with the Coalition...as Spain has.

These are tough times...but we contiue to find out which countries are really solid friends
and which ones have a questionable national IQ.
(as in the Spaniards throwing out Aznar's PP party that cut unemployment IN HALF,
from 22% to 11% and has just blown away the economic growth projections for Spain.
