Well the only pattern that I can detect is that the moderators seldom delete my replies. I don't know what the exact stats are, but I'd guess that over my entire posting history, I'm averaging maybe 2~3 deleted replies per year. That's pretty doggone low considering the number of heated discussions I've been involved in! So overall, I have nothing to complain about.
And most of the ones that had been pulled were admittedly instances where I probably let my self-discipline slip and let loose an invective that was slightly more powerful than necessary.
But I didn't do that with the reply that you just restored. From my perspective, it was just a routine post, consistant with the positions I've expressed here since I first signed up.
Nope, I have no gripe with the mods.
They're only human and catch enough flak as it is.
But as head honcho, JimRob needs feedback on instances where mods may have overstepped his guidelines. It's up to him to decide whether it was a simple mistake, or if a particular moderator has a widespread pattern of similar mistakes.
