Too many vanities and too many duplicate posts. Many by the same few posters. How about a 30 day posting ban for chronic abusers?
Some of the best threads are vanities, so I'm for them, in general, although I've posted very few, if any.
But about the duplicate posts: Bumping has fallen out of fashion on FR and should be brought back. Instead of allowing duplicates, posters should be encouraged to bump older articles, even if just by hours.
if its a topic most freepers will agree to/be annoyed with/etc, the "do not change headlines" rule seems to be ignored
