Good luck to you.

My first opus since signing-up, and you left before I could offer tea and scones. What a shame. Take care and write if you get work. Ta-ta.

"I do not believe there is a conspiracy against me. " Sounds like you forgot to wear your aluminum beanie and the alien's mind-control satellites have gotten to you!
I hope your sad example reminds Freepers to always wear their protection and check it frequently for proper operation.
Good luck, hope you are one of the fortunate few who happen into areas shadowed from the rays and then wake up and get their implants removed. If so: you'll be back! HA HA HA HA!

You'll never get this Opus(TM) past 200 if you don't bad mouth someone or something. Maybe by finishing with a "God Bless All" you can irretate the agnostics. I commend you on your polite exit. It is a rarity.

You don't appear to be logged in. Can you re-send your opus?

What does "I don't synch here anymore" mean?
It means, "Might as well swim."

You lost that synching feeling in the pit of your stomach?

"I once needed to break up with a boyfriend but he wouldn't return ~any~ of my calls...."
I couldn't stand losing you. It still hurts to think about it.
ecurbh won you fair and square.

I guess the "big tent" arguement won't work. Well, good luck out there.

Your "Opus Assessment Report" was quite good.
Can I consult you for pointers when it comes time to prepare my opus?

Thank you, and certainly. We can work out the details of my consulting fee as the need arises.

No, I have not had threads deleted or posts pulled for bad behavior.Think I figuered it out. Most women I know like a little 'bad behavior' now and then. Think of Free Republic as a twenty-something female who's had enough with go-along, get-along males and their meterosexual friends and is looking for a real man.
She has hungered for a cowboy-type who can add meaning to her existence. Make life a little more exciting while maintaining a sense of security both at home and abroad. Rugged, self-actualized, and individualistic-much like our founders, btw.
So, we get Bush, not a 'worlder' in the Kerry sense, and yet at the same time, kinda soft on the home front (give-away, vote grabben', jump monkey).
Women ( by analogy --Freepers) are very perceptive to weaknesses and being bitchy by nature, may be quick to dump on what might be the best suiter making advances at the time, only to lament this fact later. (OK lady freepers, how many of you secretly wish that you'd hung onto the one that you ultimately let go in favor of another, for reasons that at the time, seemed justified?)
'Till we hear from them, I say the jury is still out. Kerry is a fairy so I'm counting heavily on the female vote going to Bush, even though he's a kinda squishy homey when it comes to handouts (giving away the farm).
Nyther (for the pronunciation challenged) of the two major candidates represents the America envisioned earlier on in it's inception. When coupled with a couple hundred years of interpretation (along with soccer and moms and a huge dose of media bias) any deviation from the 'norm' ought to be forgiven.
The hardest part of course, will be trying to explain that to the grandchildren.
