Seems that conservatives are willing to embrace loony theories about Kerry just as the left embraces loony theories about Bush. If the GOP cant beat Kerry on issues, and have to focus on this nonesense, they deserve to lose.

Frankly nothing about this strikes me as a "loony theory. And as far as I'm concerned, it's treason.

I agree with you that it's not loony, but I disagree with your belief that it's treason. It's Sedition, and there are specific laws to deal with the failure to report such a plot.

Hiring one of the witnesses to work on the campaign might have been an attempt to bribe him. If so, it didn't work.

Of course, we could find out that these guys change their story once the bright lights get turned on them. We'll see.
