The Spanish socialists will leave their troops in IF there is a UN mandate to do so.
Bush and the administration did not *a;;ow* anyone to go into Iraq. They asked. Spain responded.
It isn't *Spain*. It is the difference between realists (conservatives) and socialists.

Since when is the need to protect ourselves predicated on pleasing world opinion? And you know perfectly well that Bush could have gotten over 100+ nations to support the War in Iraq and it wouldn't have mattered a whit to the left without UN approval. Unilateralism please.
