Hallo, Captain! Hanging in there. My sister lives in Spain with her family and we have a lot of friends there too. What a major setback! Here's what she wrote us:

Much to my dismay, my party PP lost. The 11-M surely did make a turnaround to the advantage of the socialists as prior to this disaster, all the polls pointed to the PP as the winning party. And to make matters worst, the ERC party is now the 4th much voted (nationalist catalan).

I went to the supposedly "peace march" last Friday but did not stay more than an hour because of personal reason. Too many that I was scared my operated foot would be stepped on.  I watched it all on TV and saw what happened in Barcelona - the PP reps could not join in the "peace" march and had to leave because the people were accosting them. Later in the evening, in almost all cities in Spain, the HQ of the PP were either set on fire, destroyed and people demonstrating "unpeacefully" against them, I felt so disgusted that I swear, that was the first and last peace march I would ever join.   There is nothing else to do than wait....

We're all hawks in the family and ready to rock and roll!

This is a cool website I was turned on to last year. I thought I'd share it with everyone so we can all watch Nature at work.

Mash This to watch a pair of ospreys raise their young this year. The nest is at the coast of N.C. and has been there a couple of years. The ospreys are coming around already and should soon get down to business.
It was so cool watching the young grow up last year. I think I may have posted this link then but there are some new folks here now who would have missed that post.

We still let our kitties come inside at night but now that it's starting to warm up, some want to stay out.

They're all coming in tonight because it's drizzling. But they're coming in one at a time....which means I keep having to jump up to open the door. Do they have me trained or what? LOL!

I'll bet it's fun to watch your kids playing with Mr. Goat. What a hoot. *giggle* How does Mr. Goat feel about the attention?

A German, an Italian, and a Redneck are on death row. The warden gives them each a choice of which of three ways they wish to die:

1. to be shot
2. to be hung
3. to be injected with the AIDS virus for a slow death

So the German said, "Shoot me right in the head." (Boom, he was dead instantly).

Then the Italian said, "Just hang me." (Snap, he was dead.)

Then the Redneck said, "Give me some of that AIDS stuff."

A guard gives him the shot, and the redneck falls down laughing. The guards look at each other and wonder what's wrong with this guy.

The Redneck then says, "Give me another one of those shots," so the guard did.

By this time the Redneck has tears that roll from his eyes as he doubles over laughing. Finally the warden asks the Redneck, "What's wrong with you?"

The Redneck replies, "You guys are so stupid! ... I'm wearing a condom!"

Yep, they are fun to watch. I don't get much 'puter time these days and don't get to check the nest-cam very often but have spotted the ospreys a couple of times already. I assume it's the same pair who nested there last year.

I wish it wasn't dark already so I could catch a glimpse now but we'll all just have to wait til morning to check it out. Had this site bookmarked since last year and intend to keep it as long as they keep that cam up. :-)

Now here I thought it would be the opposite....that Mr. Goat would like the kitties and that Scooter wouldn't want to be bothered.
Shows how much I know about goats and dogs, huh? LOL!
It's great the critters all get along that way.
