Senator Inhofe has been quiet since the propeller fell off his plane. And I guess Missouri's governor Mel Carnahan won't be ending the senate candidacy of John Ashcroft by blowing the lid off a St Louis scandal involving Ashcroft, either. It's so much neater that way, rather than when a passenger plane has to go down just to get one key target. But they can't make an omelet without breaking a few hundred eggs.
