Believe it or not in 1964, Barry Goldwater carried Dupage, McHenry and Kane counties
Doesn't surprise me in the least.
I grew up in a blue collar Dupage town, and we were, and it still basically is, very conservative.

Large numbers of undecided will disproportionately go to Bush as bin Laden is run to ground and his ad campaign arrives, but short of a heavy Republican turnout, he won't win in Illinois.
