Call their ?tac officer? and let him know how they are behaving off duty. Para millitary types don't like their institutions made to look bad.

Thanks, finney. The jail experience is degrading beyond belief. Charges against me were dropped because even the prosecutor's office understood that my ex was filing false reports. Not everyone in jail is guilty.
I used to be a real "lock 'em up and throw away the key" type guy. I'm a professional in the pharmaceutical industry with a degree. My ex had an affair, took my son and stole my money. I lost my house and my credit. I see my son four days a month by court order. My life was destroyed. Then I had to put up with corrections officers while I was in jail for offenses I did not commit.
Screw you, marajade.

These two have actually accosted my neighbors wife INSIDE of their house
How and why were they inside the house? Before I made any decisions one way or the other I would like to hear the other side of the equation.......

I gotta say that I've done a fair amount of backing up or walking away out on the street but IN MY HOME I don't know the meaning og the word. "Accost" me where I live and and you're going out in a bag. I can't believe this accosting incident is as it sounds.

Video camera is your friend. Photos too because some judges are impatient and like to shuffle through photos.

Hard to argue with that.

- Get Pictures and video. Include your front door and back yard. Freepmail me for good places if you need vendors. Note that audio surviellance is considered against Federal law these days.
- Keep a detail log. Even on days when there are no events. Have neighbors do the same
- Get restraining orders and have the court notify their employer.
- Keep phone and a weapon with you at all times when at home. Odds are there will be a confrontation.

Pictures were taken last night and shown to the deputy. He still claims there is nothing he can do. District Attorney? Grand Jury? Have you spoken to your elected representatives about this?
To: 1redshirt
They need:
1) videocameras-covering the yards, inside the house, and in the car covering both the inside and outside
2) a friend's house where they can make copies of the videos and store a copy just in case
3) a safety deposit box to store another copy
4) a good lawyer
5) a fence and guard dogs
6) security system
7) at the appropriate time, file an official complaint with the county and state, perhaps duplicated with certified letters-this is where the lawyer comes in, as to what is the most effective procedure
Don't do anything foolish, like escalating this until there is PLENTY of evidence. A newspaper or TV station isn't going to look into this until there are mounds of evidence, and running to them prematurely might just backfire if they look into it, contact these thugs, but then choose not to run the story.

Corrections Officers are below algae in the food chain
They aren't corrections officers, they are prison guards. Let's use their real name.

Tell your neighbor he needs to have a CALM, FACTUAL sit down face to face discussion with their bosses boss.
He needs to be prepared to explain the beginning event and a short form history, listing every event since. Then ask the bosses boss if he would like to see this report in the local or national media.

Most law libraries will have a loose-leaf binder with boiler-plate forms. It's often called something to do with continuing education for attorneys

There seem to be a lot of unstable males with criminal tendencies in the periphery of law enforcement. Often they couldn't make cut to be real police officers. A neighbor of mine (very unpleasant herself) had a son who was a security guard. He seemed to have an anger-control problem and apparently wanted to pick a fight with me. He would drive across the end of my driveway in order to access a parking spot that was also partially on my property. He sometimes practiced kick-boxing using a heavy bag in front of a window that faced my house. One day these people disappeared. I figured their criminal tendencies caught up with them.

Video taping the "misbehavior" of these "I can get away with anything" officer terrorist is an excellent idea, but I would turn the evidence over to the D.A.'s office and demand that they start an investigation. If these people are willing to harass their neighbors, just think what they must do to those people they encounter while they're working at their jobs. It's this type of behavior that gives the "GOOD OFFICERS" a bad rap from the public.
All neighbors should get together and send in the video tape and a signed letter so that whom ever investigates this matter knows just how many people are making this complaint. The more to sign the faster the problem will be corrected, hopefully.

If these "officers" came inside your neighbors home "uninvited" and acosted an individual, there are grounds for a case. You need to keep accurate notes as to date, time, what happened (video tape whenever possible) and turn this evidence over to the D.A's office. Do not give anything to the "average patrol officer", they won't help and may "accidently" lose your evidence. But, keep an on going record as to time, day, etc., that someone called for police assistance.
Send all complaint letters certified so that you have a paper trail, make sure you make copies of all correspondence sent regarding this issue. Sent complaint letters to the "officers" top supervisor, your assemblyman, your senators, the Calif. Attny. Gnrl., everyone in authority. This may sound like a lot of work, but if for some reason, all of you do need to hire a lawyer to handle this harassment you will have proof showing that you tried every avenue available to stop these people.
Unfortunatly, all of you are finding out just how "tight" all enforcement officers are, they have a "code of silence" that runs very deep!!! California is the worst!! You can only imagine if these people are willing to do this in "public" to an average citizen, just think what they do to the prisoners. Don't ever let anyone convince you that prisoners and inmates aren't abused, because this is an everyday occurance. The cover-up stories are numerous.
All of you need to send letters to the newspapers (opinion/letters to the editor) explaining the "problem" and ask why nothing is done! Bring this matter to the attention of the public. The more people who know about these "wonderful neighbors" the better!
I belong to a great "hands on" advocate group who loves to get in the face of these abusive type of officers. You and all your intimtated neighbors should join in and help us stop this problem. Our goal is to help break the back of this strong "law enforcement union" and bring about the changes necessary to eliminate these types of people from over stepping their bounderies as they have done with all of you. We also are very "out spoken" in legislative hearings and can always use another voice!!
