Andalusia has once more fallen to the Moors.

I sure do agree with you, Mewzie. We live in a lil red bit, and hate what has happened to us because of those darn blue lumps!

This is an historic day. With a single devastating horrifc attack Al Qaeda knocked Spain out of the war on terror.

You combat terrorism by bending to it and becoming a. . . communist?

Kerry has already stated that he would treat terrorism as a police matter with the courts involved, not a war. He has already stated that he would rather "dialogue" with the terrorists.

Now I ask you. Is the proper scenario for an terrorist attack just days before an election with emotions still running high in the American psyche?

Or have the terrorists studied enough of the American psyche to know that they need to hit us months before the election because we have already forgotten 911 in this country and would rather talk than fight on the part of the Kerrycrats?

An early attack could mean a Kerry win by the time November arrives and if so, the terrorists win and whoever is behind them because Kerry is a socialist appeaser and Ter-AA-za funds socialist pacifist groups. America will be one with the Europeans and one with the world and end our sovereignty which is, I think, the end game.

"Does this come under the heading of "I told you so" for the Democrats or is it rejoicing over the misfortune of others? (with a huge dose of ignoring the fact we are at war)"
Yes. Probably both. At heart, the Rats of 2004 are this lust-driven bunch of malcontents who want their Royal rule back.
Spain is what Katie Couric, Hollywood, and all the rest of the liberal left would loooove to see America be...you know:"Government, you're not taking care of us well enough! The best people need to be back in power, so we can go back to letting them run our lives! Terrorism! Help! Appease them so we can have a happy world! Do whatever it takes to take care of me and get them off our backs, right now!... and can I have some more Kool-Aid, please?"

God bless Prime Minister Aznar.

The Spanish people made a huge mistake today, but we will always be thankful that he was at the helm when we were attacked, and he stood with us.

Of course the Democrats are happy, they are Socialists. Why does this headline concern everyone? I can't believe the Spanish elected the commies either, but the fact that Democrats (if true) are happy about it shouldn't surprise anyone.

The socialists have not won enough seats to have complete control over the government.

This means that the country is not as totally opposed to the war as the spin would make it seem.

Anybody else wonder if the Madrid bombings weren't on a par with the Reichstag fire? But with an odd twist that the beneficiary was the side that the purported perpetraters would favor anyway. Then again, from our experience we know all about Socialist voting practices. graveyard voters, stuffed ballot boxes, missing ballot boxes, and so on and so forth. I can't believe that Spainards are such sheep.

Make that two God Bless Prime Minister Anzars!

How courageous he was to do what was difficult and necessary to protect his people.

It's just too bad his people couldn't do what was necessary to protect themselves!

I posted the quote just to show that some of the gloating demonrats in the US might be a little premature in their celebration.

I haven't observed that the gist of posts on this thread focused on the headline.

—Samuel Adams

“Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.”
—Benjamin Franklin, April 17, 1787

“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to ?ght, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.”
—John Stuart Mill
