Fox reporting the vote was 6-7% higher than last year. I *think* the reporter said the Socialist Party was up by 1% at the moment.

Democrats are going to be very upset! They were hoping that if the opposition wins that they will withdraw troops from Iraq therefore giving Bush a Slap in the face! Keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm watching Fox News. Did their guy in Spain just say the Socialists are up by about 1% in exit polls?

I heard that on Fox too. I hope it's wrong and Sky news right!
To: Kieri
I wasn't sure I had heard him right, but since you heard the same thing...then the Socialists are up by 1%. Hope this doesn't hold.

Their guy is Spain is a little shaky. Last night he said that news of new al-queda threats v US "are scary". Kaisich corrected him and said they were not "scary " only "concerning". My respect for JK wen tup a bit with that exchange.

I feel terrible for the losses they've suffered, but they'd need to multiply their deaths by FIFTEEN to approach ours on 9/11. And how can they possibly think that Muslim terrorists can be appeased? I hope they can see through their collective grief and use their anger to help us fight these monsters.

The first word on Sky News was the line in the title of this thread. Then after a while the reporter said indications are that it will be very close.

Spain's population is much less than ours. If one does the math, the Spanish people compartively lost over 1600 people. I'll try to find the link that gives the equation.
