You wrote: "As to the $2,000 limit, that's just for the "little people". The Democrats, as they always do, (why am I surprised?) claim to be the cheerleaders for "campaign finance reform" and then immediately find every sleazy way to circumvent or ignore the laws they supposedly championed. The CEO and Chairman of the board of Costco gave $95,000 EACH to the RATs. Okay, it wasn't the RATS, it was the "Joint Victory Campaign 2004" so they found some sleazy, underhanded way around the law. MoveOn.org is filing to be allowed to ignore the "60 day" rule. I guess that law only applies to conservatives."
Actually, JayNorth, the problem with the law is that only conservatives are applying it to themselves.
I have it on good authority that the Bush campaign is disassociating itself from at least one major Republican auxiliary group because the group MIGHT accept contributions greater than the $2,000 limit placed on the presidential campaigns. IF the Bush campaign communicates in any way with the group, the FEC MIGHT see it as coordination. Coordination is illegal now. So the Bush campaign has told this Republican auxiliary group to REMOVE THEMSELVES from the Bush campaign e-mail distribution list and to expect NO help, not even voter registration forms, from Bush-Cheney '04. No speakers at their meetings. No t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc, to hand out. Nothing. Nada.

Me thinks MS Heintz must think her and her husband have much bagage they can be attacked on relating to her personal $$$$$
This is a preemptive strike hoping the GOP will lay off any juicy stuff
The GOP better not chicken out

I wonder if she's worried that Bush will air an add about the fact that out of the 79 Heinz corporation factories, 57 are overseas. Yes, her personal fortune is dependent on the labor of foreign workers. BTW, I haven't seen this fact posted on FR. I've only heard it on local talk radio and Brit's grapevine.

I seem to have read that teresa divested herself of all Heinz stock, that the foundation she has all her money in no longer is associated with heintz,,is that wrong? BTW I think a frontal attack on teresa is a big big mistake. Let the truth about her dribble out as in Peaceful Tomorrows but not a frontal assault,,wouldn't be prudent in my opinion.

Teresa: I'll Use Ketchup Cash if Race Turns Ugly She's doing that already, not to "defend the family honor" but simply to attack Bush. I refer to the laundering trail from Heinz Endowments to Tides Foundation to Peaceful Tomorrows, the organization which organized the "outrage" at Bush's campaign ads that dared to include images of 9-11. So I guess it's already ugly.

Perhaps email saying,
"Did you know that Mr. Kerry plans on tapping into her $700 million Heinz fortune to overthrow President George W. Bush's 2004 reelection?"
Please remember this the next time you are in the grocery store.
Doesn't sound as strong as "BOYCOT HEINZ", but gets the point acress.

I think we can all make sure these products and labels never end up in our shopping baskets again: Thanks for the labels. Is there an accessible link to the list ?
I'm not inclined to give Teresa any more money to damage our country.

What she doesn't realize is that her statement probably just totally iced hubbie's loss in November. She's a disaster.

Teresa: I'll Use Ketchup Cash if Race Turns Ugly Well then she might as well start using it now since it turned ugly against Bush by her husband some time ago.
