Bush coming to post

President Bush and first lady Laura Bush are coming to Fort Campbell Thursday as part of a week of White House activities to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the start of the Iraq war.

Details about the visit are not final, said post spokesman Jim Hinnant, but Bush is scheduled to eat lunch with the troops and speak to soldiers and their families.

I only live a few miles from Ft. Campbell and will try to go. I be happy if I can just get a glimpse

President Bush has a very strong affection for our troops and the 101st performed above anyone's expectations. I think he'll be as glad to see our troops as I think our troops will be to see him. I hope I get to watch this Thursday.
